AMC Draws Curtain On Plan To Go Public

AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. won’t proceed with plans for a public stock offering.
The parent of Kansas City-based movie theater company AMC Entertainment Inc. said in a Friday letter filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it is immediately withdrawing its registration to sell its stock publicly.
“The company has decided not to proceed with the offering at this time,” the letter said.
