Teen Center raises curtain for new theatre group

“The skits focus on underage drinking and DUI prevention,” said Teen Center Project Coordinator Melissa Peterson. “The theatre group focuses on peer education and influencing peers to make healthy choices.”
One of the skits, “Tragedies,” was completely written by the all-teen theater group. Another skit, “Party Time,” was already written, but the group changed some aspects and added many of their own lines.
Youth involved in the theatre group include Shani Roland, Bryan Slater, Maddie O’Bar, Loren Williams, Kenny Sims, Ben Jackson and Cliff Schreder.
