The Housing Corporations assessment notes high levels of customer satisfaction, a positive approach to dealing with antisocial behaviour, clear information to residents and a repairs service that matches some of the best in the country in terms of performance.

Kevin Lowry, chief executive said: Two years ago, we were in supervision status with the Housing Corporation, with red lights for governance and viability, and amber for management. This second green light confirms the progress we are making and shows that our staff restructure in December 2007 is already paying dividends in improving services to our residents.

We look forward to Audit Commission re-inspection in July with renewed confidence that we will demonstrate the difference we have made.
