Wrekin Housing Trust launch mobile website

The new %26#39;mob%26#39; site is designed specifically for viewing on mobile devices.

The site at www.wrekinht.mobi http://www.wrekinht.mobi contains lots of quickly and easily accessible information, tailored to people who are out and about and use their mobile phones a lot.

The site contains pages of information about paying rent, choosing a home, and the latest job vacancies at the Trust. The site also includes a feedback system for customers%26#39; comments.

All telephone numbers on the site can be called by simply clicking on them and the site menu can be navigated using number access keys for easy of use.

In the first month since it was launched, the new mob site received an average of 25 hits per day, with the vacancies page being the most looked at.

Sue Williams, new media marketing manager at The Wrekin Housing Trust, said: %26quot;We felt that a mob site would be an innovative way of making the Trust more accessible to our customers, particularly to younger people who tend to use their phones to surf the web. All of the most useful content from the Trust%26#39;s main website is now just a couple of thumb clicks away on your mobile phone.%26quot;
