IT IS undoubtedly an English resort that time and tourists have knocked about a bit.
And although it was once described by a leisure boss as stylish-tacky, when it comes to good-value shows, Blackpool still proves Britain really has got talent. For example, there’s Forbidden, the biggest and most lavish production ever staged at The Gobe on the Pleasure Beach, which runs from now until November. Amazing choreography, spectacular lighting and stunning costumes create an unexpected and fabulously exotic show full of grace and elegance.
Meanwhile, the beautifully restored Grand Theatre promises a sizzling summer with a star-studded line-up of sensational shows for all the family.

This month Any Dream Will Do finalist Craig Chalmers is making his dazzling debut in Bill Kenwright’s sparkling family musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The award-winning Circus arena at Blackpool Tower really does rock this year, with Mooky the clown showcasing his extraordinary skills on the electric guitar and his new pal, an 8ft high dinosaur performing fantastic football skills.
