Anderton Signs Off In Style

The former Portsmouth, Tottenham, Birmingham and Wolves midfielder made his 569th and final career appearance as Bournemouth took on Chester.
Having started the game on the bench, Anderton signed off in perfect fashion with a superb long-range winner two minutes from time.
Anderton won 30 England caps during his 18-year professional career, a tally he would surely have added to had it not been for a series of injury setbacks.
And he hopes that his spectacular final act on the football field will provide a lasting legacy to an impressive career.
