On Saturday night, an audience comprising those who would be classified as the less fortunate were treated to a sneak preview of the Christmas Pantomime Of Robin Hood, an English folklore character.
With elaborate costumes and sets, the cast delivered their lines and musical numbers with great ease and confidence, belying their young ages.
Although based in 12th century England, the show makes reference to current affairs both local and international including the recently held historic United States presidential election.
The audience will be taken on a magical journey with musical numbers, including ballet pieces, modern dance, hip hop and the classical.
The culmination of three months of preparation, the show will be sure to make one laugh, tap one’s toes and hum along, as the adaptation of Robin Hood unfolds.
