ONE of Aberdare’s most historic buildings is facing demolition to make way for a housing development.

THE curtain will not fall on a Furness theatre group which feared closure.
Barrow Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society is just two years away from celebrating its centenary, but its players were almost forced to leave the stage forever over a planning dispute.
